Meet the Team

Editor and Publishing Consultant

Ashley Sargeant Hagan is our primary editor and publishing consultant for fiction and non-fiction books. She is also an author of traditonal mysteries (with a large dose of romance!). She holds a B.A. in English from Belmont University and has two decades of experience as a writing coach and editor. She is the immediate past president of the Middle Tennessee chapter of Sisters in Crime, and has recently started her own writing group called The Dangerous Pen Society for authors looking for ways to collaborate with and learn from each other.

Editor/Proofreader

Joanne Hofmeister is a non-fiction editor and is also a proofreader for Inkwell Writers. She is a communications professional with experience in technical writing. Joanne earned a B.A. in communications/writing from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and a M.A. in communications from Southern New Hampshire University. 

Editorial Assistant

Kaniel Geeslin is the Editorial Assistant for Ashley Sargeant Hagan. She is an up-and-coming editor with a good eye for details! She is also a proofreader and very adept with citations and copyrights!
